Home Stretch: Last Weeks of the Campaign

Dear Maryland Progressive,

We're working on Get Out the Vote efforts for PDA-endorsed candidate, Congresswoman Donna Edwards, and turn Virginia blue efforts with our allies. We're continuing work on our core issues, Healthcare NOT Warfare, Global Warming, Fair Trade, Election Integrity, and Economic and Social Justice.

Contact me to get involved with ongoing PDA efforts. Join PDA: click here.

PDA needs your support to promote progress in Maryland. Please join the "change makes change" program. Our database, action alert system, materials, printing and other expenses require a budget and generous contributions. For only $5 or more a month you can be the change we need.

Rep. Van Hollen is organizing buses of people to knock on doors in Virginia on the weekends. Buses are leaving every weekend from now until Election Day in Montgomery County on both Saturdays and Sundays and in Prince Georges County on Saturdays. You must register in advance for reservation and departure information. Volunteers are accepted on a first come first serve basis. If you have any questions or you would like to sign up to volunteer please contact Michelle Widmann at Van Hollen campaign headquarters: Michelle@vanhollen.org or (301) 942-3768.

Movie Benefit Wednesday, October 1, 6-9 PM

Join me in Mt. Rainier for UNCOUNTED--an explosive new documentary that shows how the election fraud that changed the outcome of the 2004 election led to even greater fraud in 2006 and now looms as an unbridled threat to the outcome of the 2008 election. Sales of DVDs and other items will benefit PDA.

Artmosphere Cafe: 3311 Rhode Island Avenue, Mount Rainier, MD 20712 (short bus ride from Rhode Island Metro--red line)

This controversial feature length film by Emmy award-winning director David Earnhardt examines in factual, logical, and yet startling terms how easy it is to change election outcomes and undermine election integrity across the U.S.

Q&A / After-film Presentation by: Rebecca Wilson. For information and RSVP, please contact Jennifer: jenkarius@velvetrevolution.us
